How does Quillva work for authors?

Create an account, choose a plan, and list your books using Quills. Active readers pick up your book, read it, and submit reviews. There is no weekly cap on the number of reviews your book can receive.

How does Quillva work for readers?

Sign up free, browse available books, and choose titles to review. After you submit a genuine review you earn Quills, which unlock rewards and move you up the leaderboard.

Is Quillva free to use?

Yes for readers: signing up, reading, and earning Quills is free. Authors can create a free account, but listing books requires a subscription (Basic, Standard, or Premium) and Quills.

What are Quills?

Quills are the platform currency. Readers earn Quills for every validated review. Authors spend Quills to list their books. Quills can also be bought or awarded through challenges and milestones, and they roll over each month.

How many books can I review at once as a reader?

You can have up to 4 books pending review at a time. If 2 of them are paperback orders, the limit rises to 6. Once you complete a review, you can pick another book.

Are reviews checked for quality?

Yes. Every review goes through automated validation checks and may be reviewed manually by our admin team. We make sure reviews are thoughtful, genuine, and in line with our community standards.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time. You keep your plan until the end of the current billing cycle, then your account becomes free.
